A WARNING has been issued by police after a wild boar was spotted in Gloucestershire with an arrow embedded in one of its rear legs.
Gloucestershire Police are appealing for information following the sighting in Edge End, Coleford after a member of the public reported it at 9am this morning.
The police are warning the public that the injured animal could be dangerous and said that residents should not to approach it, but to report any further sightings to the police.
It is illegal to shoot any animal with an arrow in the UK and police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed this attack, finds an arrow in the locality, or who has further information.
