A FAMILY left devastated by the death of Oliver Williams has paid tribute to a man who "lived life to the full".

Oliver, 23, from Lechlade, died in a collision in Upper Inglesham last Friday night.

Another man, John Barnes, 76, from Fairford, also lost his life.

A statement released by the family today says: "Oliver Lee Williams, age 23, of Lechlade was tragically taken from us on 25th September.

"Growing up in Lechlade and attending local schools, Ollie went on to study at Swindon College. After working years at various local pubs, he became a familiar, friendly face to many before moving on to work as a labourer at Blenheim Brickwork.

"Eldest son to Andrew and Marie, big brother to Hannah, Joseph, and Evie and loving boyfriend to Alex, Ollie lived life to the full. Part of a large, loving close family his absence will leave a big hole in many people's lives.

"We would like to thank family, close friends, and the local community for the overwhelming support. He will always be remembered for his cheeky smile and sense of humour."
