THE Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen will be returning to Tetbury for their Spring Show this year.

The annual event will take place from June 1 to 5 at Tetbury Market House, GL8 8DA.

The exhibition will open daily 10am to 6pm with demonstrations of craft skills by designer-makers every day.

Up to 25 members of the guild will show off their creativity and craftsmanship with leatherwork, ceramics, jewellery, furniture, glass, textiles and more.

Makers will be available at the show to discuss their craft and inspiration with visitors. The show will also be an opportunity to view and buy unique handcrafted work.

This year's guest exhibitor is local sculptor Kate Risdale.

Kate, based on a Cotswold farm, has been sculpting professionally for eighteen years, exhibiting in galleries countrywide and undertaking commissions.

She often works with metal sculptures, shaping metal strips into animals.

She also works with willow, both live and dry, running sculpture courses and projects for schools and community groups.
