Police investigate attempted break-in at Lechlade post office
THERE was an attempted break-in at Lechlade post office this morning.
Police were called to the scene just before 2.45am after an alarm was set off at the post office.
It is believed the offenders threw rocks through the glass of the front door but did not gain entry.
The glass panel in the post office door is currently missing
