ANTIQUE fans will discover if their heirlooms are “real Bobby Dazzlers” or just “cheap as chips” when one of Britain’s most famous experts visits Cirencester this weekend.

TV presenter David Dickinson is heading to the Corn Hall in Cirencester with his ITV show Dickinson’s Real Deal on Sunday, June 11.

His team of antiques dealers will be on hand to pose the show’s big question - accept a cash deal on the spot, or risk selling your items at auction.

Cirencester residents are encouraged to bring along their prized antiques, whether that be a special piece of artwork or jewellery that has been passed down in the family for generations.

81-year-old David previously fronted BBC's rival antiques show Bargain Hunt from 2000 until 2004, but began his stint on ITV hosting Dickinson's Real Deal in 2006 which he has been apart of ever since.

Mr Dickinson’s most popular catchphrases include “cheap as chips”, “a bit of a duffer” and “a real Bobby Dazzler” and his most frequently used piece of advice is “always look for quality pieces”.

The antiques dealer will be doing free valuations in the hall between 8am - 5pm on Sunday.

No booking is needed but everyone must bring photo ID.
