A COMEDIAN is due to bring a night of nonsense, improvisation and absurd comedy to a pub in Malmesbury in the upcoming week.

Actor, writer and stand-up comedian Tony Law will be performing a Gloryhole Special at The Kings Arms in Malmesbury on Friday, February 16.

Tony is known for his surreal material, delivery and his deconstruction of stand-up comedy.

Wilts and Gloucestershire Standard: Brewery Free Range Comedy Festival.

Many of his stand-up routines are ad-libbed, and built around various subjects that he has thought of, but not planned a routine about, and often involve fictional and surreal situations.

Half Canadian, half Trinidadian, Tony has been busy working hard on the circuit and creating a buzz for himself as one of the most in-demand live acts performing sell out shows in the UK.

He has appeared on Have I Got News For You (BBC2), The Alternative Comedy Experience (Comedy Central), 8 Out Of 10 Cats (Channel 4), The Culture Show (BBC2), The Stand Up Show (BBC1), Stewart Lee’s Comedy Vehicle (BBC2), Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC3), Never Mind The Buzzcocks (BBC2), Sky TV, and numerous shows and appearances on BBC radio.

The gig has been organised by Malmesbury Live Arts CIC and will start at 8pm.
