AN ARRAY of popular pubs around Lechlade and Fairford are taking part in a mouth-watering charity Easter egg raffle this year.

Every penny raised will go to residents in need or local organisations needing financial help - such as food banks, schools, health care charities etc - via the Lechlade and District Lions Club charity.

Each pub has a giant Belgian chocolate Easter egg, which weighs one kilogram, on display at its bar.

Residents eager to get their hands of one of these delicious eggs can drop £2 in a money box at their chosen pub and must write down their contact details on the numbered grid next to it to enter the raffle.

Each pub owner will announce their winner before Easter.
