POLICE are looking for witnesses after a driver crashed into a ditch to avoid a head-on collision with another vehicle.
The motorist was driving along the B4040 between Malmesbury and Easton Grey, when another car approached travelling on the wrong side of the road between 10.30pm and 11pm last Tuesday, March 19.
To avoid crashing into the other car, the driver swerved, crashed into a ditch and trees and was later taken to hospital to be treated for injuries.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: "We are appealing for witnesses and information following a near miss head-on collision between two vehicles, resulting in one of the vehicles crashing into a ditch.
"Unfortunately, we have minimal details on the suspect vehicle, only that it was small and dark in colour.
