THERE is less than a week before the Olympic Torch procession arrives in Cirencester.
Thousands are expected to line the streets of the town, with local schools closing early to allow pupils the chance to take in the once-in-a-lifetime event.
It will arrive in Cirencester next Wednesday on Day 5 of its procession around the UK.
Each stage is being timed with military precision and organisers expect the torch to arrive at Lewis Lane in Cirencester at 3.42pm. It will take just 12minutes to pass through the town, with a brief pause as the torch is switched between the four runners expected to take part.
