A children’s tea party will be held at Stow Primary School on Friday June 1, at which the Mayor will present each pupil with a memorial jubilee mug.

A Jubilee Jamboree exhibition will be held at St Edward’s Hall on Friday June 1, including refreshments, a raffle and portraits of the Queen by pupils of Stow Primary School. Historic re-enactment society the Sealed Knot will also be on hand and the Stow Civic Society will host a royal feast with entertainment in the evening.

A Diamond Jubilee commemorative plaque will be unveiled at St Edward’s Church on June 3 by the Vice Lord Lieutenant of Gloucestershire, Robert Bernays OBE.

The Town’s jubilee beacon will be lit on the cricket field on the evening of June 4, accompanied by fireworks and music

A cricket team from the Queen’s Head hotel will take on a team representing the Vintage Sports Car Club on Tuesday June 5 at the cricket club. A selection of vintage sports cars will also be on display, and a communal picnic will be held along with children’s sports activities and entertainment.
