Great Birmingham Half-Marathon
THE Bupa Great Birmingham Run is the biggest half-marathon in the Midlands and two athletes from the Running Somewhere Else club completed this race – Dave Witnall finished in 1:31.29 and Elaine Chapman in 1:48.46.
Abingdon Marathon
MORE than 1,100 runners competed in this year's Abingdon Marathon, RSE's extreme athlete Laura Maddison completed the course in a great time of 4:47.16.
Salisbury Half-Marathon
JON COLLINS competed in this year's 17th Salisbury Half-Marathon and completed the rather hilly course in 1hr 58min.
SWINDON PARKRUN
SIX of our runners took part in this week's Swindon Parkrun.
John Buck was first home for the club with a time of 20.33, followed by Ben Chapman 21.45, Mark Sherwood 22.14 (PB), David Lacey 25.49 (first-timer), Claire Joyce 27.41 and Becky Lacey 29.54 (first-timer), Well done to all of our runners.
