NORTH STAR College student Jordan Wall produced the bout of his life to earn a unanimous points decision over Luke Liptrot from the Kettering School of Boxing on the Horseshoe ABC show at the Grange Drive community centre in Swindon.

From the first bell Wall made his mark landing solid left and right hand punches in an all-action bout.

Wall had already earned a place at the National Association of Boys and Girls Clubs (NABGC) finals and Liptrot is a possible opponent if he gets past Luke Riley from Gemini ABC in the other semi final.

Cirencester ABC has been been open for only nine months and Jordan is their first boxer to reach a national final.

ABA coach Simon Knowles said: "The club is absolutely buzzing, we have three boys boxing in Bournemouth on Friday and five at Victoria Park ABC of Cardiff for the England Select v Wales Select, one of the biggest amateur boxing shows to be held in Wales.

"Jordan Wall will be leading the English team into the ring."

Last Sunday Cirencester ABC travelled to Frome where one of their top prospects, Johnny Varey, lost a narrow decision against Tyler Kelly from the host club in highly entertaining fight.

Knowles added: "Any club would have loved to have had this bout on their show. Two top boys, what a cracking bout!"
