Stratton Youth round-up

Stratton Youth U18s 2 Avebury U18s 3

AVEBURY U18s were awarded the softest of penalties with five minutes remaining and dispatched it to take all three points.

Stratton dominated in the first half but the Avebury keeper pulled off a string of fine saves.

Stratton did take the lead on the half-hour with a well taken goal by the ever lively Sam Grafton.

The home side pulled a goal back on 40 minutes but then Grafton fired home a free kick with the last kick of the half.

The second half was more even. Avebury U18s, playing their last ever match, made a better go of it. It was end-to-end stuff and then Avebury got a deserved equaliser. With five minutes to go they snatched all the points thanks to a penalty.

MoM: Sam Grafton.

Stanley Park U16s 1 Stratton Youth U16s 2

THE Stratton U16s finished their season with a well earned win away at Stanley Park.
