PIPPA HUTTON, who is based at the Talland School of Equitation in Ampney Knowle near Cirencester, has made the four-strong British team for the FEI U25 European Dressage Championships to be held at Hagen in Germany from June 16-19.
Hutton (22) will ride the 14-year-old chestnut mare Duela.
The first leg of the U25 competition on Friday, June 17 is an Inter II test in which all four riders will compete for individual medals with the best three scores counting towards the team medals.
Saturday will see the Grand Prix with individual medals and the top 18 go forward to Sunday’s Grand Prix Freestyle for more individual medals.
Hutton is joined on the team by Alex Hardwick (25) from Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire, Bobby Hayler (24) from Writtle in Essex and Ryan Todd (23) from Halifax, West Yorkshire.
