FAIRFORD Town returned to winning ways and went to the top of the table with a 3-0 away win at Easington Sports on Saturday afternoon.
After dropping two points last time out, the Reds knew the importance of the victory but came up against a resolute home side who kept the visitors at bay during the first half.
Matt Boucher's 49th-minute opener got the visitors in front before Levi Cox doubled the lead on 58 minutes, his 11th goal in just nine games for his new club.
And when Lee Smith found the back of the net with two minutes remaining, the Gloucestershire side wrapped up the victory.
