VOLUNTEERS at Cirencester Open Air Pool have announced its opening date for this summer.
The 28-metre pool near Cirencester Park will reopen on Thursday, May 11.
A spokesperson said they were ‘delighted’ to be reopening.
The pool - which dates back to 1869 - hosts a variety of different sessions including general swims, lane swims, aqua aerobics, inclusive swims and pre-school swims.
The pool's water is fed by a natural spring and heated to an average temperature of 27°C throughout the season. Usually the pool’s season ends in mid September.
